This architectural marvel is unlike any other in Greece, blending Byzantine, Ancient Greek, and modern design elements to create a truly unique religious monument. The church stands as a testament to the creativity and cultural heritage of the region, combining traditional Byzantine features with classical Greek symbols in its structure and decor. Built in the 19th century, it offers a fascinating contrast to the more typical Byzantine churches across Greece. The church is dedicated to Saint Fotini, the Samaritan woman who is said to have encountered Christ at the well.
